Laurie Webb
Interim Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary
Laurie Webb leads the Legal, Government Relations and Global Trust and Security organization at Seagate, overseeing all legal functions, government affairs and public policy, and global security. She was most recently Vice President, Legal and Chief Compliance Officer, and previously served as Vice President, Legal, Compliance, and Government Relations when she joined Seagate in 2018.
Laurie has practiced law for nearly 30 years and her legal expertise extends to corporate governance, compliance and ethics, mergers and acquisitions, international operations, and corporate and commercial transactions. She began her legal career as an associate with Cooley Godward LLP, and subsequently held executive and leadership positions at e.l.f. Beauty, Schiff Nutrition, Spansion, Brocade, and Advanced Micro Devices.
Laurie received her B.S. in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was a regents scholar, and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
