Warranty Period
The Seagate warranty starts on the date of the Product shipment to the Seagate OEM, distributor or retailer. The Seagate warranty expires the last day of the Product warranty period specified in the Seagate published limited warranty periods or Product packaging, or whichever is longer. Per a separate agreement with Seagate, your warranty's terms may differ from these general terms.

In order to exercise warranty claim, please contact the authorized distributor or reseller you purchased Product from. To exercise your warranty claim within jurisdiction/region, ensure you purchase Products from an Authorized Distributor within same jurisdiction/region. If you have purchased Product from an authorized distributor or reseller outside of your jurisdiction/region, you need to exercise warranty claim with them directly.
