Improperly ejecting a USB device from a FreeAgent Theater+ can potentially have the same result as is seen when a USB drive is unsafely removed from a Windows computer. If you disconnect a USB drive while the FreeAgent Theater+ is indexing the media files on the drive, those files could be damaged, corrupted, or rendered useless.
Seagate recommends that users wait for the blue "busy" circle in the bottom right corner of your screen to finish spinning before you disconnect your USB drive from the FreeAgent Theater+'s USB ports or USB dock.
