This section applies if you are using a Seagate-branded mobile application. Please remember that your use of our mobile applications is at all times subject to the applicable Terms and Conditions that incorporate this Privacy Statement.

When you agree to download and use our mobile application, we may collect the following information in addition to the Personal Information and Other Information described in the Privacy Statement:

• Registered username
• Mobile telephone number
• Precise geo-location
• Browser and mobile device information

We collect this information through your use of our mobile application and through the registration of a mobile application account. In addition to our standard uses of your information, we also use this information to provide functionality to the mobile application, to personalize your experience with our mobile application, and to improve your overall experience with our applications, services and Offerings. When you download and use our mobile application, we and our service providers may track and collect usage data, such as the date and time the mobile application on your device accesses our servers and what information and files have been downloaded to the mobile application based on your device number.

With your explicit consent, Seagate and our partners and licensees may collect, use, and share precise geo-location data, including the real-time geographic location of your mobile device for the purposes of providing you the nearest Seagate authorized service center locations. The mobile application may collect precise location of your mobile device when the application is running in the foreground and in the background when the application is not in use. You can disable or limit this feature through the settings located in your mobile device.

We engage in these activities with your consent, for our legitimate business interests, to manage our contractual relationship with you and/or to comply with a legal obligation.

You may uninstall our mobile application from your device. You can also disable push notifications and precise geo-location through the settings located on your mobile device.
