This tool will update the firmware on the following models:
- Seagate Backup Plus
- Seagate Backup Plus for Mac (USB 3.0 models only)
- Seagate Slim
- Seagate Slim for Mac (USB 3.0 models only)
- Seagate Backup Plus Desk
- Seagate Backup Plus Desk for Mac
Confirm you have a backup of all your data before you begin a firmware update process.
This process will require a reboot at the end, so ensure all your work and open documents are saved before beginning.
