Getting Started

Format Game Drive for Xbox

Game Drive for Xbox is delivered formatted in the exFAT file format. To use it as an external drive for your Xbox Series X|S, you must format the drive with your console.

  1. Power on your Xbox.
  2. Connect the USB micro-B end of the cable to the USB micro-B port on Game Drive for Xbox.
  3. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to a USB-A port on Xbox Series X|S.

  1. Your console should automatically recognize Game Drive for Xbox. Follow the onscreen instructions for formatting the drive.
