After the data is successfully recovered, it will be stored in an encrypted format on an external storage device.

● Philippines customers are required to follow the regulatory requirement by Optical Media Board (OMB). It is a regulatory requirement implemented by the Philippines customs which is applicable for all optical media such as storage (hard drive) shipped to or shipped from the Philippines.

● South Korea customers are required to setup and pay for shipping to Seagate authorised partner in South Korea, DataCube Corp.

Data Recovery Services FAQ

Data recovery is the process of salvaging data from corrupted or damaged storage media devices, such as HDDs, SSDs, or flash drives. This corruption could stem from physical damage to the hardware itself or logical damage to the internal filing system. In all scenarios, the objective is the same—copy all files stored within the damaged device to a new, accessible device or restore the original device to working order.

The estimated turn-around time is typically 30 business days from the time your media is received at our lab.

The actual turn-around time may vary due to severity of the damage, local regulations, parts backlogs, shipping delays, etc. If the recovery attempt is successful, you’ll receive your recovered data on an encrypted storage device.
