You may find that, after setting up your GoFlex TV, your content does not display immediately on your TV. Most likely, this is caused by the amount of content you have. The larger the number of media files you have stored on your storage device(s) (ie, the hard drives connected to the GoFlex TV), the longer it takes the GoFlex TV to index them for use.
To resolve this, you do not need to do anything except to wait for the GoFlex TV to complete the indexing task. The more media content you have, the longer it will take to index and generate thumbnails. When the blue "busy" circle in the bottom right corner of your screen finishes spinning, you should see your media files when you select Movies, Pictures, or Music.
Improperly ejecting a USB device from a GoFlex TV can potentially have the same result as is seen when a USB drive is unsafely removed from a Windows computer. If you disconnect a USB drive while the GoFlex TV is indexing the media files on the drive, those files could be damaged, corrupted, or rendered useless.
Seagate recommends that users wait for the blue "busy" circle in the bottom right corner of your screen to finish spinning before you disconnect your USB drive from the GoFlex TV's USB ports or USB dock.
