HDMI PCM - Default setting. Recommended when GoFlex Cinema is connected direct to the TV via HDMI or Composite cable.
HDMI Raw - Recommended when GoFlex Cinema is connected to A/V receiver via HDMI cable.
S/PDIF (Optical) PCM - Recommended when GoFlex Cinema is connected to low-end A/V receiver via optical cable.

Video Settings:

Composite cable - Only PAL (576i) and NTSC (480i) will be available
HDMI cable - supports up to 1080p.

The GoFlex Cinema should detect the highest resolution available with the TV and cable combination.

Aspect Ratio:

Orginal - Default setting. Displays entire movie but may leave sections of the screen unused.
16:9 - Adjust image to best fit a widescreen television.
Letter Box - Shows an entire 16:9 image on a 4:3 screen by leaving empty space at the top and bottom of the image.
Pan Scan - Shows a 16:9 image on a 4:3 screen by zooming into the image, cutting off portions of the video but leaving no empty space on the screen.

During movie playback, pressing zoom + / - will toggle through the Aspect Ratio options.
