When browsing the Ethernet Disk Mini: Home Edition's web administration screens, all links bring the web browser back to the login screen. This issue is specific to Internet Explorer. The solution is to install Firefox, then sync the Ethernet Disk's clock to a time server. Follow the procedure below to solve the problem.
- Download the Firefox web browser.
- Using Firefox, log in to the Ethernet Disk, and click the "Settings" tab.
- Click on "Administer My Hipserv".
- Click "Date And Time".
- Choose "Set Date and Time From the Internet", and click Apply.
Internet Explorer will now function normally with the Ethernet Disk web administration menu. A firmware update was released to resolve this behavior. Update the firmware on the device to prevent this issue in the future.
